Irdina's 1st Birthday

Alhamdulillah, today is Irdina Syazwina's 1st birthday. Unbelievable, dah setahun rupanya puteri cun ayah ni. Malam tu lepas berbuka puasa we celebrate the princess birthday. Ayah dan Umi harap Irdina akan jadi seorang anak yang taat kepada perintah Allah dan juga kami sama macam Abang Irfan. Tak lama lagi Irdina pulak nak dapat new brother.  Ya Allah kau peliharalah anakku ini dari segala kejahatan dan berikanlah dia kesihatan tubuh badan, akal yang sihat dan menjadi orang yang berguna dewasa nanti....Amin

Visit Pakcik and Makcik at Sydney
|

Kami went to Sydney 24/8/2007 - 3/9/2007. Melawat Pakcik and Makcik yang sambung PhD kat Macquarie Uni. Our flight from KLIA 10.20 pm. Dari rumah kami naik KLIA Limousine. Flight not full so, stewardess so great allow us to take the empty seat.....bolehlah kami baring. Sampai kat Sydney Airport, imigresen check our food. serunding daging satu saja tak lepas. Thats dah kira bagus. At the airport we were fetch by Pakcik and family dan juga Kak Rozie and husband (Abg Salim). Kak Rozie also doing PhD at the same uni.
Dapatlah jugak kami tengok Ahmad Faris Darwisy yang lahir kat sana. Bawak Opah sekali. Throughout our stay in Sydney kami pi Featherdale Wildlife Park, Blue Mountain, Sydney City, Sydney Market dan other shopping places.
Umi and Opah borong pinggan Correlle yg memang murah. Ayah apa lagi bought 2 canterbury shirt. Irfan mmg seronok kat sana dah tak ingat lagi kat ayah, umi dan irdina. Kat area rumah Pakcik ada 2 lagi famili yg rapat dgn Pakcik, famili kak rozie dgn nama kakak ni dah lupa pulak...dia org singapore but dah menetap kat Sydney. Husband dia 'Ben' muka ada ala-ala Van Damme.
Irdina meragam kat sana. Mungkin tak tahan sejuk. Ayah pun tak brp tahan. Kesian Irdina demam dan selsema. Kami pun tak dapat nak jalan sangat, ingat nak naik bus sightseeing tapi memandangkan Irdina tak sihat dan mak pun tak berapa larat kami tak pergi jalan jauh.
So, to Pakcik and Makcik thanks for everything. Pergi melancong accomodation free is great heheheh. To Abang Salim, Kak Rozie and famili jugak kami ucapkan terima kasih sebab banyak tolong sampai bagi pinjam kereta masa depa went to Gold Coast. Plan asalnya kami pun pergi jugak Gold Coast, tapi memandangkan distance (10 hrs driving) kami tak sanggup nak pergi. InsyaAllah ada rezeki we will again come to Sydney.
Irfan yg Ayah paling tak sangka crying betul-betul sebab sedih nak left Pakcik and Makcik behind. Even after sampai Malaysia still said that he missed them a lot. Our flight back to Malaysia was via Brisbane, pity Umi cos has to dukung memerap Irdina all the way from Brisbane to KUL.
Alhamdulillah semuanya selamat sampai kat Malaysia on Tuesday (4/9/2004) morning. This is the paling lama duduk oversea. Terus ayah ambil Kak Murni kat rumah Pak Su. Irdina mula-mula mcm tak kenal kat Kak Murni!!!

Smart Reader Sports Day - Tasik Titiwangsa

Baru balik dari Langkawi semalam, pagi ni terus ada sport day for Smart Reader Kids at titiwangsa. Atok Basir joined us, we left the house at about 7.30 am. Irfan participated in dancing as performance and lari dalam gunny sacks. Irfan kalah...sedih dia. Actually memang not fair since the gunny was so big compared to other team yg dah dipotong half of the guni. Its Ok Irfan, it is not all about winning but your participation and efforts that count. We proud of you son!!!!!.

Family Trip to Langkawi
|

This trip was actually planned quite sometimes ago. But, with work commitment and other things alhamdulillah, thanks Allah berjaya jugak kami pi. Ainul fetch mum and dad at hometown to KL. We took a taxi to LCCT. Boarding flight Air Asia, after 1/2 an hour the pilot said that actually the flight is now flying back to KL for technical reason. The aircraft landed and later stopped, a steward said passengers dont need to disembark, because actually the flight is turning back to KL for REFUELLING!!!!! What a bangang!!!This is typical AirAsia flight. Then the flight take-off again to Langkawi.
At the airport, rent a Mazda Premace MPV for RM200 for 3 days. We proceed to Kuah town for lunch and check in at Kondo Istana. After that the shopping begins!!!!!.
Not much for me, tapi for mum and my wife it is heaven for them. Anyway, I'm glad to make my parents happy. It is not so many times that we can spend together. May Allah bless them.
I took Irfan to Underwater World. Quite expensive but berbaloi. Irfan enjoy it so much. On Saturday we flew back to KL. The aircraft landed. The nightmare begin sekali lagi. As I awaited for my parents to come down from the flight, I took my mum and dad pictures. One groundhandling man told me in Bahasa "Boleh tak simpan kamera tu, kami nak cepat" huh cantik sungguh bahasa anak muda ni. My parents not even posed for the snap. It is a candid pictures. Kalau ikutkan hati mmg nak lempang dah this young man but I don't want to spoil the excitement.
Then at the baggage claim section my wife told me that another groundhandling man told my parents to walk fast!. Come'on Air Asia bus^@#&. They are nearly 70, what do you expect from them. If I were there, I think I will F*&^ them off!!!. So, please think it over again 100 times before you take AirAsia. Don't dream that I will fly with them again.
The trip was fun but the blame is on AirAsia.!!!!!

Muhammad Irfan Syamil 6th birthday

Today 13/6/2007, is my son Mohd Irfan Syamil 6th birthday. Thanks Allah for give us this wonderful son. Today is also Mak Su Ainul 25th birthday. Dad and mum were at my house in KL as we are going to LGK the next day.
In the morning Umi brought cake and party packs to irfan's kindergarden Smart Reader Kids Diamong Square. His friends were so happy to know that there will be a party at school. Sorry Irfan, I can't be there due to work. I even try to leave early from work but I can't make it.
I was at home at about 6 pm. I asked dad to recite doa. Mum brought together a cake that she and mak su bought at Sri Gombak. I gave Irfan a gameboy as present and Umi gave him a 'Transformer' toys and a mini monopoly.
Irfan, me and Umi will always pray for your success and happiness. Amin......

IATA Training - Geneva
|

I went to Geneva on 28 April 2007. Umi, Irfan and Irdina ke Kemaman that morning with Pak Su. Tak apalah kesian depa can't go with me. The course started on 30th April and ends on 3rd May. From KUL naik MAS to Zurich and get a connecting flight to Geneva. KUL-ZRH about 12 hrs. Transit about 3hrs at ZRH and get the half and hour flight ZRH-GVA. At GVA stayed at Moevenpick Hotel not far from the airport and IATA Centre.
Quiet cold in the morning and evening. After class, I will go out to the city centre Geneva just walk around to enjoy the beautiful view of this city. They provide a free transport for tourist to travel around Geneva.
Actually planned nak balik on the 6th May , unfortunately Yop Yazan my cousin staying in Vevey, Switzerland kena outstation to USA. Then, I changed my flight at the Swissair ticketing and luckily there is flight available on Friday, 4th May.
I arrived at KUL on Saturday, 5th May early morning. At about 7am I was already at home and all the family terkejut because mmg I nak surprised them. What a good surprised!!!. I made a good decision to went home early as all of them falling sick. Umi and Irdina got cough and cold and Irfan demam and on Monday, 7th May he was admitted at KBMC because of tonsilitis for the next 4 days.
In short, I love the people in Switzerland for their respect, polite and patient sama like people in Malaysia...What a beautiful place to visit.

Program start about 12.00 pm. Ayah baca doa. Andak Jijoi ambil ayah from kg a day before dgn Opah. Ramai ada, sedara mara sebelah Mak Andak Azean dan kami sekeluarga kecualai Lang...Lang what happen to you!!!!
Kengkawan Andak Jijoi pun ramai datang, Irfan seronok giler cos dapat jumpa member baik dia...Abg Udin.

Willis Aviation Insurance Conference, 13-16/3/07 Hanoi Vietnam

This conference is supposed to be attended by Nordiana, but she can't make it. I went to Hanoi together with Nadimah. Sampai at Hanoi Airport we were greeted by Daewoo Hotel driver and drive us to the hotel. It was about 3.5 hours flight from KUL.
On the conference, byk were discussed, good topics they have this round. During the final day, we went to Hang Ghai Street where banyak vietnam silk yg dijual. Mmg tempat perempuan je lah kawasan ni.
In conclusion, Vietnam have good people, a lot of development around, on the road, phew...motorcyles banyak betul.!!!!! Tapi tak macam kat KL yg mat motornya giler!!!!!

Cameron Highland

Hari sabtu tu...ayah rasa boring pulak. Mak oun ada ajak on Friday nak pegi Cameron tapi ayah kata susah sikit sebab hari Jumaat. Pagi tu tepon mak tanya dia nak pegi ke tak? Mak kata dia tak larat. Oklah ajak pulak mak sorang lagi(Opah Timah) ..dia nak pegi. Dah pukul 12.30 pm kami boarded ke Cameron. Baru lepas Simpang Pulai Irdina dah melabur!!. Kena berhenti..penuh belakang badan dia.
Kat Cameron borong sayur punya banyak..ayah spt biasa beli jagung manis. Kami balik sampai teluk intan balik dah about 7.30 pm. Kesian Irdina...sejuk rupanya kat Cameron. Ingatkan tak sejuk sangat....merah hidung dia. Siap berangin lagi..ayah pun tak tahan.

1/2 was Federal Territory day and I took annual leave on Friday 2/2 actually nak bercuti tu Kemaman. However, I was informed that my mum was not well so we decided balik kg. at teluk intan. Thursday morning before we balik, kami drop by kat SMC to see Farhan yg kena operation due to PDA. Selepas tu kami balik and look like mum dah a bit better (arthritis). Friday kami pegi Ipoh bawak Irfan jenjalan ke Lost World. Irdina tinggal...tak apa adik..nanti dah besar sikit ayah ngan Umi will bring u together.
